US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

Ziegler Communications is the Prime contractor responsible for the management, maintenance and operations of Government-owned Avaya PBX Systems for the NRC Region IV. Ziegler provides telecommunications support services including service maintenance for Avaya hardware, software, and associated sub-components.
Ziegler performs system equipment updates, this includes a review and audit on the condition of Avaya communication systems on a quarterly basis. We provide maintenance support to analyze status and condition of systems, identify issues or any performance concerns, including software updates and patches or release levels that may be necessary. We also install Avaya software release upgrades and/or patches to keep telephone system in good working order.
The system status checks and condition review activities include software compatibility audit scans, including software and firmware. An audit check was run to generate a report showing the installed software and firmware versions on all upgradeable devices in the Avaya Communication Server (CS1000E) and Communication Manager (CM). Based upon the scan results, current release levels of the systems were identified. We also provide recommendation to help ensure the most current service packs are running across the infrastructure. Patch install recommendations are described in detail for each of the system/equipment, mainly to keep the system in good working order, and as recommended, to maintain the Avaya equipment at the most current operating system level.
